Steve embarked on his journey as a classic barber, laying the foundation for his career in 2013. He focused traditional cuts, shaves, fades, shop talk and built a successful business behind the chair. 

However, Steve felt confined and didn’t want to remain in what society had labeled the “barber box.” He wanted to expand both his technical mastery with cutting-edge and trend setting styles as well as his entrepreneurial mindset.

Steve’s background in precision cutting and barbering foundations coupled with his passion for teaching and mentorship led him to open Parlor on Tremont in Boston, MA with his wife Errin Ferreria in 2019. He quickly became a rising star in the Boston scene and gained national attention from renowned brands like Arrojo and other top industry leaders, landing him gigs as a platform artist and educator.

The Elevated Barber is an evolution of Steve’s 20+ years in the industry. It’s where classic precision cutting meets barbering and a celebration of multiple techniques, tools and mindset practices. No more boxes, no more limitations. Let’s rise together.
