WH: Painted. Rethink Color is a foundational course in hair painting. Led by Whittemore House Lead Colorists Alyson Pemoulie and Andi Iby. The pair have perfected WH's approach and painting techniques under the guidance of Victoria Hunter and Larry Raspanti. They are quickly becoming some of NY’s most sought-after colorists and are excited to be launching this one-day course.
Our educators start each day with multiple demonstrations utilizing customized techniques on models with a variety of hair types and textures. After the demonstrations, the educators deliver a customized approach to the hands-on phase of the class based on each student's level of experience. Participants will be working on 1 models for the day, under the tailored guidance of the instructors. Models, tools, and materials necessary to practice and achieve this technique will be provided.
This intimate class allows for a maximum of 10 students to receive an individualized comprehensive introduction to this modern technique of hair coloring. Students will practice:
- Looking at hair and developing their eye
- Painting foundations including: sectioning, consistency, mixing, brush, control, toning, layering, shadowing, contouring
- Detailing with a focus on the hairline and glossing at the bowl
Class Duration: 9am-4pm

Booking: Payments can be made in full or a 50% deposit to reserve the date. We will work with you to set up a payment schedule. The class must be paid in full 30 days prior to scheduled date. A payment link will be sent to you for the remaining 50%.
Cancellation Policy: Deposit is 100% refundable if cancellations are made 30 days prior to scheduled class date. The deposit is 50% refundable for cancellations made after the 30-day cut off date. The payment is non-refundable if cancellations are made within 1 week of the scheduled class.
